Hanger Descendants Hold Annual Reunion
Descendants of Andrew and Sarah Hanger who came to Washington in 1903 from Grundy, Virginia held their annual reunion Sunday at Fort Borst park, Centralia. Two of their three remaining children, James Hanger of Glenoma and Cornelia Hanger Noel of Yakima were among those present.
Family and friends attending were as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd . Noel, Yakima; Mr. and Mrs. Jess Smith and children, Miss Linda Weston, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Smith and daughter, all of Chehalis; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Clevenger, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Riffe and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Godfrey, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cheney and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Clevenger, all of Glenoma; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cheney, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hugh and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Walter and children, Mrs. Keith Hanger and children, all of Kosmos; Stewart Hanger, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Smith and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Smith and children, all of Riffe.
Also Mrs. Gloria Johnson and Miss Deanna Pearson, both of Olympia; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Minor, Bill Minor and son, Naches; Mr. and Mrs. James Cornell, Gresham, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Cornell, Sumner; Mrs. Bill McAllister and children, Galvin; Mrs. Norman Riordan, Silver Creek; Pete Devlin, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bryant and son, Mr. and Mrs. Add Slingerland, all of Centralia.
