Bucodan Succumbs

BUCODA - A Bucoda logger, Marion Bayes, 50 died Sunday in an Olympia hospital following a lingering illness.

Born March 14, 1912, at Glenoma, and had been a resident here for 10 years. He had lived at Onalaska previously. He was a world War II veteran.

Survivors include the widow, Edna, Bucoda; one daughter, Bonnie, Bucoda; four sisters, Mrs. Maxine Cooper and Mrs. Emma Baker, both of Onalaska; Mrs. Gladys McTaggart, Yakima, and Mrs. Oma McTaggart, Spokane; three brothers, William, Raymond; Linzy, Onalaska and Herman in Oregon.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 1 p.m., at the Salkum cemetery under the direction of the Fissell Funeral Home, Chehalis.
