Ella Jane "Jayne" Allison McCarley submitted this photo of Mary Elizabeth Kennedy Allison, wife of Alanson/Alfred Allison. She was the daughter of John K. Kennedy, Captain of the Kennedy Company Wagon Train of 1862. This Wagon train was involved in the incident at Massacre Rocks, American Falls, ID (outside of Idaho Falls) There is a State Park there now. John settled in Walla Walla, WA.
In 1860, Alanson/Alfred came across the Oregon Trail on Horseback with 2 brothers, Hiram and Bradley. Bradley was shot by Indians outside of Idaho Falls while eating breakfast. (With an arrow in the back) Mary Elizabeth and Alanson/Alfred met in Baker, OR and were married there.
