MOSSYROCK - Two girls with perfect 4.0 grade averages topped the first quarter honor roll for Mossyrock high school. Principal Lawrence Deacon reported the top students were Arlene McMahan, a junior, and Linda Warren a sophomore.
Seniors led the honor roll with 15 scoring 3.0 grad points or better. Sophomores were second with 14 on the honor roll. The junior class had 13 honor students and the freshmen, 10 students.
Seniors on the honor roll included: Wanda Hagen and Sheryl Osborne, Barbara Fitzhugh, Lawana Buntain, Bob Baron, Gary Gross, Evely Smith, Liz Carson, Gerrie DeGross, Wayne Kaiser, Venita Aldrich, Mike Ward, Therese Ghosn, Don Faulkner, and Mary Nelson.
Juniors on the first quarter honor roll were: Arlene McMahan, 4.0; Kathleen Wedam, Oren Hadaller, Joan Severns, Mike O'Connell, Marilyn Meyers, Stephanie Rhodes, Joy Sturgeon, Trudy Wingerter, Shirley Simons, Dean Rankin, Marion Kautenberg, ad Mike Irwin.
Sophomore honor roll students were: Linda Warren, 4.0, Elaine Overtstreet, Elaine Powell, Sheryl MacDonald, Jenny McDaniel, Gary Haslett, Jim Roark, Carol Faulkner, Peggy Anderson, Jeff Davis, Peggy McClaskey, Nancy Kautenberg, Luella Keenan and Linda Burden.
Freshman on the honor roll were: Sharon Clark, Bud Rose, Milda Zieler, Cindy Lester, James Wedam, Linda Faulkner, Kristy Inmon, Dorothy Lane, Sandra Moore and Michael Robertson.
