Benefit Play Dec. 17 At Mossyrock
Mossyrock, Dec. 7. - The homecraft club will present is play, "Clubbing A Husband," at the new auditorium December 17. it is a three act comedy with a number of laughter provoking characters. The cast includes Mesdames Gerald Gleen, Louise Arnold, Florence Martyn, Leela Shaner, myrtle Birley, Eva Burt, Barney Donelson, Ted Donelson, Inez McCurry, Flora Aldrich, Flora Redman and Birdie miller. Admission is 25, 15, and 10 cents. The grade school children are furnishing curtain acts. The money from this play will be used to build a play shed at the grade school. The club has $100 towards this fund already on hand.

Shower for Miss Miller.
Mrs. George Miller was hostess at a miscellaneous bridal shower Sunday honoring her niece, Miss Lois Miller who will be married this month. The bride elect received almost a complete housekeeing [sic] equipment in the way of china, glass, cutlery, linens, etc, including both lovely and useful gifts with which she was delighted. Luncheon was served at 4 o'clock. The guests were Mesdames Louise Schmid, Lewis Duncan, R. F. Riley, Wm. Burt, J. W. Shaner, Kit Aldrich, Bernard Martym, Fred Stranz, Bud Rae, Oren Brannon, Wm. Swigert, Ed Swigert, Lester Swigert, Sarah Carson, Freda Carson, Sol Coleman, J. D. Blankenship, Cecil Birley, Percey Birley, Wm. Botzer, W. A. H. Birley, Elsie Belcher, Doris Foster, John Doss, George Curry, Louis Arnold, W. A. Miller, Marion Stellah, John Rhiner, Opal Sears, Mrs. Smith of Onalaska; and Misses Opal Doss, Elma Curry, Inez Swigert, Jaunita Riley, Arva Belcher, June Stedham, Mona Miller, Bonnie Boyd, Hazel Severns and Violet Addinton. Those who sent gifts were Mrs. Hansen, Irene Dahlstedt, Mrs. O. L. Dahlstedt, Ella Ayres, Mrs. Ryan, Mrs. E. R. Whisler, Rose Whisler, Mauvia Young, Maud Dunn, Mrs. Rae, Alice Roberts, Etta Swigert, Rebecca Collins and Mrs. Cicero Davis.

The brethern of the Pentecostal church are building a new parsonage.
Grace Swigert is very ill. She has been receiving medical care in a Chehalis hospital.

Mrs. Wilbur Young and small daughter Nancy Kay of Longview visited Sunday with Mrs. Young's sister, Miss Virginia Rice.
Mrs. E. C. Fissel spent Wednesday in Tacoma, where she attended the ceremonial of the Daughters of the Nile.

Miss Theodora Bushnell's Treble Clef club and her young men's chorus will perform individually and jointly in recital in a musical program of one hour after the regular meeting of the Elks Thursday evening, December 17. The public is invited and the program will start shortly after 9 p.m.
