Johnson Rite Set

Oscar K. Johnson died Friday at a Centralia hospital at the age of 87.

He was born Nov. 28, 1882, in Sioux City, Iowa, and had been a resident of Centralia for the past 50 years, coming from the Grays Harbor area.

Mr. Johnson was a retired timber inspector for the Northern Pacific Railway.

Survivors include his widow, Mary A., at home; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Geraldine) Chapman, Shelton; Mrs. P. E. (Peggy) McCollum, Galvin, and Mrs. Donald (Bertine) Kinder, Centralia; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, 1:30 p.m., at the Mountain View Cemetery, Centralia, with the Rev. Harvey C. Hartling officiating. The casket will remain open until 1 p.m. Tuesday at Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia.
