Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Cochran and daughter Betty Jean spent the week end and the Fourth at Silverton, Ore., where they were guests of Mr. Cochran's stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Larsen and with other relatives in the Willamette valley.
Dr. and Mrs. A. N. Hogberg and son Danny, Mrs. Hoberg's father, H. Mayes, B. H. Briem and Bobby Briem spent the Fourth at Seaview where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Godfrey. Mr. Godfrey is employed on highway work in the Seaview district.
Dr. and Mrs. H. L Petit arrived home Tuesday evening from a 10-day trip to Reno, Nev. where the doctor attended a trapshoot. They found the weather extremely hot in Nevada and passed through Redding, Cal., when the thermometer stood at 114.
Mrs. Emma Stoecher, who was a guest of Mrs. Sleicher the past week, returned to her home in Seattle. Miss Mamie Stoecher and a friend,, Miss Fassett, drove from Seattle Wednesday and spent the day at the Sleicher home, Mrs. Stoecher returning with them.
