Miss Ortha Young, who has been spending the holidays visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Young, left Thursday for Seattle.
Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Moore had as dinner guests Wednesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Pierson and daughter, Miss Ortha Young and Madison Wulfing of Berkeley, Cal.
Wilfred Lewis entertained the following guests at a New Year's eve party: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Siler, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Siler, Mrs. Harry Siler, Miss Ethel Lewis, Dr. U. M. Lauman, Bert Purcell, Jane Ball, Doris Workman, Charlotte Skinner, Arcola and John Moore, Ed McNee, Steve Miller, Blanche Stevenson, Edith and Carl Miller, Jennings Music, Mildred Green, Manford Martin and George Gibbs.
There was a large crowd of young people at Epworth league Sunday evening. Lisle Penberthy was the leader. The next meeting will be at the home of George Gibbs, who will lead Sunday evening.
School reopened Monday, January 4. The P. T. A. started serving lunch at noon to the children.
Miss Jane McQuarie, returned from Hoquiam where she spent the holidays visiting her sisters.

Miss Eloise Henion returned to Randle December 24, after a four days' visit at Kelso.
Mr. and Mrs. Addie Pifen of Kelso, E. E. Wilson of Randle, Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Bruenn of Longview and Miss Ruth Peters of Ajlune were dinner guests at the H. D. Henion home on Christmas day.
