St. Urban
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar McMullen of Pasadena, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller of Portland, visited the Chris Warnath home Thursday of last week. Mrs. McMullen and Mrs. Warnath are sisters.
Roy Russell left Friday evening for Seattle where he will spend some time visiting his sister, Mrs. Paul Laakso, and other relatives and friends.
Word was received last week from Mrs. Theodore Studevant, formally of St. Urban, and now of New Plymouth, Idaho, that Mr Sturdevant is very ill with typhoid fever.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Ruether and family motored to Yakima where they spent Saturday and Suday. Enroute home they visited the R. E. Bredl family in Tacoma.
There will be a dance at the St. Urban Grange hall Saturday night August 24th. Everyone is cordially invited to attend.
Week end visitors at the Carl Russell home were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Verbeck and Donald of Silverton, Ore., and Raymond Meyer of McChord Field.
The Chris Warnath family spent Sunday at Spirit Lake and Mt. St. Helens.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Mills and Mrs. Dora Allred of Centralia, spent Sunday at the George E. Doty home.
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Neuart and Mr. Neuart's mother, Mrs. Annie Neuart of Galvin, visited Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Meier Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lampith and daughter Lois were visitors at the Sherman Rarey home Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Liemmer, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Legat and children visited Mr. and Mrs. Western Curtis in Napavine Sunday evening.
Miss Bertha Mannikko returnel [stet] home Monday afternoon, after spending the summer in Seattle. Her aunt, Mrs. Otto Johnson, came with her for a visit.
Wilbert and LeRoy Warnath accompanied their father, Chris Warnath, to Mt. Rainier Park for a week's vacation.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Waller Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Joe Waller Jr. and children, and Mrs. Johnnie Meier left Tuesday morning for Banger, Wash., where they will spend their vacation.
Pearl Grandorff and Bertha Mannikko visited Dorothy Russell Tuesday afternoon.
