Henry Contois Entertains
Henry Contois was host Saturday evening at a jolly card party for the Altar Society of the local Catholic church. Five hundred was played, high schore going to J. G. Petersen, consolation to Mrs. Frank Riedl. Mrs. John Becker won the door prize. Refreshments were served. Members and guests attending included Messrs. and Mesdames Fred Brunk, Henry Becker, W. R. Nolan, J. C. Branneman, Clifford Carlsen, Henry St. Germain, John Netter, Frank Riedl, J. S. Nolan, John Becker and J. G. Petersen; Mesdames Mary Little, Edna Renfroe, Anton Dermanoski, Lucy Tiffany and Thomas Hamon; Misses Marian and Reta Netter and Bernice Tiffany; Messrs. Morton Hall, Earl Doll, Russell Nolan, Alfred Hanson, Joe Dermanoski; Rev. Father Cornelius Snyder, Ira Tiffany and Dave Kelly. Out of town guests were Mrs. Henry Minckler and Miss Alma Riedl of Winlock, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. White and Lyle Ficklin of Kalama, Leonard Loren and son Kenneth and Harry Richmond of Ryderwood.
